The Verkkovoimaa -project (1 August 2011–31 December 2013) launched by Culminatum Innovation, the development company for Uusimaa Region, supports networking and internationalization among expert service companies in the life science sector. The project anticipates changes in the sector, arranges business training, coaching and workshops, and builds internationalization programmes for groups of companies. Operations are funded by the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Uusimaa, the European Social Fund, the companies participating in internationalization programmes, and the municipalities in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area.
