Business cases for Hermo Pharma Ltd.

For whom?
The course is aimed at PhD students in the life science sector. Students will be accepted primarily from the participating doctoral programs (FGNS, FICS, GPBM, HBGS and VGSB) and FIMM but also other students can be accepted. All participants are expected to sign in CDA/NDA.
How?
- The business cases (~ 40 hours of work) will be prepared in teams of 5-6 students during February and March.
The course starts with a two day introduction, lectures and assignment - Each team member will be responsible of one business area (market / product / IPR / partners / financing / contracts and risks), but everyone will participate in and learn about all areas.
- An external expert as well as the employees of Hermo Pharma Ltd. will guide the students’ work to ensure that both the company and the students benefit from the project.
- In the end each group will present their business case. The best work will be rewarded!

- Weekly 1,5 hour appointments with a consultant.
- Financial calculations: 7.3. at 8-15, Viikki Biocenter 3 Lecture hall 2402
- Presentation and evaluation of the business cases: 28.3. at 12-16, Viikki Biocenter 2, Lecture hall 1015.
